I didn’t go beyond the part where she was talking about Imran Khan. The podcast hosts need to find speakers who are not peddling the state-narrative with a hint of liberalism. Did she say something about how the current government is formed and what happened in 2024 elections? Anyone who calls Imran Khan a ”project of the military” and keeps the traditional political parties and their leaders out of this loop is not telling the truth. Speak to someone like Wajahat S. Khan, for example. Ask him tough questions, your content will be more believable and factual. Thanks.

I still wonder if a longer political approach by Putin on an international level may have been successful as the US was looking pretty unreasonable to most non-NATO states and peoples. However if the US and it’s parastatal allies were willing to blow up the NordStream then I don’t know what shenanigans they would have pulled; particularly after moving resources out of Afghanistan.

If anything the Russians were overly optimistic of the behavior of ”Western” powers in the sense that they would be vaguely rational and humane and thus not feed Ukrainians into a grinder in perpetuity. In hindsight the constant periodic war scares from the US/Biden/Euros/etc, and the large uptick in Ukrainian attacks on the Donbas right before the planned Russian operation should have indicated things might go South upon launch.

Yeah he’s got some interesting bits of experience and such but I just don’t share his worldview. His interpretation of political economy is kind of naive as he just assumes goodwill on behalf of business owners for all employees at all times. That and the weird glorification of frontier era USA just doesn’t click for me.

Putin didn’t go in expecting Ukraine to ”capitulate”; he went in hoping the shock would drive Kiev into serious no-bullshit negotiations. And it did: within 48 hours a search for common ground was underway. And it bore fruit six weeks later in Istanbul. Until the West told Zelensky to walk away (”We’ll beat the on the battlefield!” --- Winston BOJO Churchill). The Ukrainians themselves say the Russian force numbered 100,000. Nobody could possibly conquer a country like Ukraine with such a small force. So comparing Trump to Putin is WAYYY wrong.

Uncanny with a guest speaking of the need for warfare economy and ”israel defending itself”... This Adhd lady seems very convinced of the ways of her employers... What rock did you find her under?

sorry the first line should be”If Britain and France had supported a democratic Spain and defeated and Italy might not of gone in with their armed forces.”

If Britain and France had supported a democratic Spain and defeated and Italy would not have gone in with their armed forces. Even better if they had gone in and been Hitler invaded Poland a battle hardened Spanish army would have fought in the west instead of the fake phoney non war that Spain fighting with Britain and France Mussolini would have stayed betrayal of Spain was a disaster that should of been avoided.

In 1938 Chamberlain -- who had launched a full-tilt British rearmament programme two years previously -- did not think Britain was ready for war. And he knew the British public -- traumatized by WWI, which lay only 20 years in the past -- would not go along with a new war. On another note, if the Germans had attempted to invade Britain (as was their intention), the Royal Navy would’ve driven them back. So, spending on the navy was value for money.

I can’t believe that you think Trump has any interest in peace in Ukraine. Great work though always of interest. Happy new year even though from a few days after this was broadcast the world in 26 looks worse already than 25.
