He would have been a hero if he had used the sperm of the husbands or chosen donors, not his own without the women's consent! That "super donor" is weird, for sure...

There is the lack of consent - but much more serious is the fact that, with so many unknown half - siblings out there, it could very well be that two of them fall in love and have children (the Netherlands aren't that big, so it's not unlikely) which might be problematic, not just because of hereditary health issues...what was that guy thinking?
