Extremely enjoyable podcast. Very knowledgeable. Very interesting. Hearing that Eric was less than enthused about Lol’s guitar solo was jarring. I love Lol’s creativity a little more than the other 3 lads. And that is saying a lot!
Great idea for a pod - a forensic analysis of stand out tunes - always been crackers about (the original) 10cc, and the GG detail on Mandy was fascinating. Particularly Eric being not to keen on Lol’s solo! Keep it up.
I believe Gouldman mis-remembered the poster that inspired Mandy: it was "I'm Cheryl, fly me", not "I'm Susie, fly me".
