Brain disorders affect one in four families. Every family should be aware of the many hurdles in connecting to MH services. The best choice is exploring your options before you need them. People will be astounded. Please keep putting stories like this out in front of the listening public. Thank you
NPR should rename themselves National Women’s Radio. Seems like they’re the only thing this station likes to talk about these days. And this was the case long before Roe v. Wade got struck down. Well, good for you. Shame you don’t care about men’s issues seriously. Because of that, men are losing the ability to seriously care about women’s issues. Good job NPR!
Wow, there is so much spot on information to think about. It’s all a bit concerning, too. Thank you for the observations.
This is such a twisted interpretation of the meanings of the constitution the 5th District has put out there. I will be staying tuned. Thank you for reporting on this.
(((They))) control npr top

Work to live, not live to work. That is so spot on.
The podcast was cut off at the end. I had to go to NPR to hear the last two minutes. This has happened a couple of times to me.
Teachers, (salaried though they may be with its expectation of over 40+ hours work per week) teach a typical year of 185 days including professional development days. Given a 4 week vacation, other jobs require about 240 days. The larger problem is the conundrum of being inadequately trained while expected to teach an excessive number of subjects (reading and math are specialties) and then being micromanaged by a bureaucracy with little trust in their teachers’ professionalism.
Oh, good, more nanny state bullshit to tell people how to live their lives rather than the state providing resources to help people live better lives. And democrats wonder why their losing support.
