I did attempt to do it through a local bariatric center however it was during the height of covid and they were not accepting new patients new patients. So I compared my out of pocket expenses with my insurance and it was approximately the same to go out of the country so I chose that route. I do have follow up care if needed via the surgical center that I chose to go through And I have been very fortunate that I have a naturopath who was willing to take on my care.
Hi Reeger, I wanted yo say how much I enjoyed this episode with Zoe. I am one year post op from VSG and I did it via medical tourism. I had my surgery 32 days after submitting my application. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I am a clinically diagnosed binge eater and surgery plus therapy has been my saving grace! :)
This is heart breaking. I am the creator of the Bariatric badass podcast. I’m sorry your creative self left you… me too, I can’t express the respect that I have for you and the work you do for our community. I suffer from suicidal ideology and crippling anxiety. So much to the point that I have podcasted about it several times. I have been in a creative limbo as well. I will pick up where you left off. I am going to podcast about you. You inspired me and broken my heart. Please be well
Wow really touched me and could relate to on so many levels. Thank you!
Just ordered the book...thank you

I believe four year old definitely have stress. By the time I was four many things happened to me and by the time I was 7 had an ulcer. I also think we have stretched our stomachs out way beyond the capacity they were created with. We learn to stuff ourselves on holidays, during superbowl, at reunions, on

I was over weight my whole life and 2years ago I decided to get gastric sleeve surgery and it's the best thing I ever did I will never look back
love your honesty!
Last but not least, I had several comorbidities so my insurance covers all my bloodwork. I feel amazing, am off all prescription medications, get regular exercise and am WAY more active at 47 then 27. Best decision for me :)
