The theatre I work with seems to have found a good way of adapting these choose your own stories in play form. We've done two adaptations (one was Space Vampire and the other Hijacked) and both had a run of sold out performances.
Parsec has always been a measure of distance, both in SW as well as n RL. The name of the Falcon is that it hyperspace dared jump so close to a massive black hole, it was never a measure of time.
