Well researched and presented podcasts. You guys are a great combo and I love the way John interacts because he is querying some of the aspects of the story that I am asking. Will keep listening. Really good. Thank you.
Unpopular opinion the 911 operators are just doing their job. They care as much as they can. However in the time in-between the 2 calls they could have feilded hundreds of calls dealing with rapes, murder, child abuse or butt dials, I think expecting a different operator than took the original call to instantly know the details of what’s going on is a bit unreasonable. Plus what I heard in the call between the officer and the operator was a tired woman expecting to be blamed.
Oh my gosh! What a terrible story.
What a crazy episode!! Great job telling this story.
Winning for losing?! Gross. Why the would you support that shame driven ?
Awesome work guys!! Very interesting but crazy episode.
Great job on the Israel Keyes episodes!!
Great job on this episode!! I’m a True Crime Couple fan.
Love this podcast. One of my favorites!
Great episode! Love this podcast!
Very good episode. Can’t wait for the end in the next episode.
Excellent show!! Great job. Love your podcast. Renee
I don’t think Zachary did it and I am gobsmacked that the evidence was enough to put him away even with his shoddy defence lawyer.
I love your shows. You two are awesome! Always looking forward to the next episode.
I started listening to TCC a few weeks ago & have been binging ever since. You guys do a great job! Very talented in story telling.
Great job on this podcast. I've heard this one from other podcasters, but yours was best.
I love this podcast! You two do a great podcast with interesting cases. Thank you!
Why would he buy shoes from Payless if he's getting all this money. Unless they were throw away shoes he was only going to use once. But he bought them w a credit card so that would be dumb
This whole story sounds like a movie plot... it's so bizarre.
Its really victimblaming, the thing about how women are dressed and that that would be the reason for the many rapes. To have many rapes in an area you have to have a lot of rapists not undressed women. As you know women are raped ni matter how they are dressed.
I know they were really young but maybe they were sexually active? Idk it seems unlikely esp if they both had seman from the same male on them but it also seems unlikely that they would be raped and murdered in the same day, by two dif people and in such a small time frame. This part of the case is really weird
This is a good example of coercive control. How devastating.
Humans that fought other humans for land and lost.
I love the show and am even considering being a patreon bc I've listened to every episode and need more. That being said, I'm from Massachusetts and the way you described our history was very one sided and rubbed me the wrong way. The native Americans were not peaceful angels before Europeans got here. They warred against each other and took land by force well before pilgrims ever stepped foot on the continent. All nations are the result of wars and bloodshed. They aren't noble savages. They're
The Hughes family may have presented itself as close and loving, but if father had a drinking problem, there was likely a lot more going on behind closed doors. Billy may have wanted to protect his father's reputation and kept quiet if there was any abuse going on.
I just found your podcast on Spotify, after listening to an episode I quickly went to subscribe but I couldn't. Everytime I try to, the app closes. I went on Podbean and had no troubles. It'ss my preferred pod catcher but it doesn't work with my mini speaker.

Your podcast is really hard to hear turn up the mic
Holy crap! I also went to College of Charleston (a very long time ago!)... I have about a dozen ghost stories from when I was there, so I became oddly excited to hear Kelsey's 2nd story. I can't help but wonder which dorm she was describing... it sounds like the building may have been used for something else when I was there, but so many buildings in Charleston have creepy histories!
This isn't about any particular episode. I just wanted to say, this is my favorite podcast! I could go on and on about what I love, but, I will just name a few. 1. You get right to the story. 2. You do interject, but, in a good way....sometimes funny...sometimes serious. 3. You're not afraid to say fuck....on of my favorite words 😬. 4. Yours are longer than most, and I want details...which you give! I'm a fairly new listener to your podcast, however, I have been listening to true crime ones for a couple years. Can't wait to hear the rest of yours.
I've listened just half way and I can not but help seeing the talent that you have in narration. Good work.
