I love the last bit about schools and education and teachers! I left teaching in the public system because I don't agree with how the system teaches or has children sitting in desks all day long. There is something that is very aligned with what you and Matt are talking about - it's the Montessori pedagogy!!

I enjoy the podcast! Felt like I needed to comment about the gov. shut down -- the United States Coast Guard is part of the Department of Homeland Security & all employees are currently not getting paid! You're right, unless you're part of that world the average American would not notice a single difference with the shut down, but those that are connected to it, are noticing! For better or worse.
