I think etiquette of interrupting might be something to do at some point. (Also pirates but that's not so relevant to this one.)

For anyone listening to 'Baths and Showers', people in the 50's/60's in England would usually have bathed in a metal tub in front of the fire. When not in use, the metal bath would have been hung on the wall. (Think of a big galvanised bucket and you're close) the outhouse would just be a very small hut for a toilet. (This is true of most working class families in the north of England, where I and my family are from)

Hello Travis and Teresa McElroy! I just want to say I love this show! I do not know if you folks ever check podbean (I'm not on Facebook or else I'd message you there) but I wanted to bring something to your attention. I am a person who is hard of hearing and American Sign Language is my language of choice and I heard you, Travis, saying things that seemed to imply that sign language was not a true language/a gesture form of English/ ASL isn't talking or spoken and I just wanted to inform you that it is indeed it's own language with it's own words, grammar, and linguistic styles (I.e. Korean Sign Language, British Sign Language, Australian Sign Language, though French Sign might as well be American from time to time) but just because it is not vocalized it is indeed spoken and verbalized and is not merely body language though it does utilize it heavily. I know you meant no offense I just wanted to let you know, and thank you for your time! -Violet Jane P.S. the head nodding question made me chuckle a bit because it is polite in Deaf Culture to nod regularly in conversation to ensure you are listening. So when I'd converse with my hearing friends and I'm doing that they'd get so weirded out because of the cultural/linguistic difference.
