I am a great fan of Aaron Mahnke's works and have enjoyed both his publications and the Lore television series. Now he has touched on the darker side of our nation's history during the settlement years of the New England area and the Massachusetts Bay Colony. With research and interviews the Podcast of the Salem Witch Trails now explore further in depth than just the religious element, but the on-going issues with the political and economic elements as well. Thank you for this podcast.

This is a little too "woke" for me. Love the other podcasts but tired of hearing all the current talking points shoveled into history.

Love this podcast!!! I listen to all of Aaron’s podcasts!!! I’ve tried listening to similar ones (I’ve listened through all of his podcasts in just a few weeks) and nothing else compares. Keep up the excellent work! πŸ’•

Fascinating!!! Did I somehow miss the actual cause of the convulsions, though? We're they faked, or what?? The timing in court was simply TOO convenient, to be sure. But it sounds like they were quite convincing.

This is one of the best podcasts I've ever listened to. Informative, down to earth, realistic, well researched, and laid out much more clearly than I believed such a complex topic could be through a podcast. I can't wait for the next season.

Looks like some triggered regressives had their preconceived notions challenged in these comments. If anything, this podcast Doesn't go far enough in indicting the Puritan thought as the single most diabolical and destructive thing to ever hit the Americas. Literally lead to the death and deprivation of millions of people, and still infects our culture and politics to this day.
