Same principle applies to all fruits with a stone, when you keep the stone/pith it help conserve the dish. Thanks for your service ! Lol

To the French listener. You can steam some sponge cake. It is really delish and sweet. Soft any thing you'd like about a cupcake. Serve with Chico, butter cream, or jam. One egg beaten with 2tbs sugar then add tbs melted butter, 1/4tsp baking powder, add 2tbsp coco but flakes if any. Lastly add sifted flour 3tbsp mix. Pour in buttered cups put on a steamer. Cover with the lid which is covered with a napkin. When the cake swells and dries take the lid and let it steam 10 mn more.
