Went to purchase today and it’s been flipped over. I really was looking forward to see space. Werewolves pursued by tentacles. Oh well. Still a fantastic product for Mage and Werewolf!

I think one of the real advantages of this book is that enables us to really construct a new world to explore where it’s not the familiar ’here are the nine in the 1990s’ or ”This is the technocracy in the 2000s” no this allows us to build completely different and new worlds/universes to explore social impacts going forward.
I have a buddy who has run two campaigns starting with Hunters killing another supernatural being in front of them.
These dark age fae actually remind me a lot more of the Raksha from Exalted 2e (Graceful Wicked Masks). The Firstborn are a lot like the Unshaped, these broadly powerful, alien place-beings that can only really live in the Deep Wyld (or more from their perspective, the Shallow Creation). I’d say the usual Raksha in 3e are kind of like the inanimae (really out there by human standards but they’re actually a half way point), and Wyld-tainted or Fae-Blooded would be your changelings.
This whole episode is extremely interesting from like every angle. The discussion of intangible economic and legal innovations as technology; providing perspective on population density and social classes; the whole historical context; this is the gift basket I didn’t know I wanted.

another fantastic episode! I would really love to see what you were talking about in the very beginning about a ranking system along the lines of does this book deliver, it wouldn’t even have to be recorded just a listing.

I was one of those critical reviewers. I don’t know of this will ever get to Karin, but if it does: I was ill-informed, ignorant, and those views no longer represent me. I’m sorry. I’ve deleted my negative review off the Steam page. I hope I’ve grown as a person.
