Hi. Just thought I'd let you know that I get my patterns from ravelry, but I don't do project pages. So maybe that pattern does have more finished projects than the one on ravelry

Great episode!! I've used a pair of cheap "dog rakes" as mini combs. Super light, but takes forever to blend/process even a small amount of fiber. They're handy because they aren't sharp as "real" wool combs. They're also significantly cheaper. For mills, your Canadian listeners might be interested in Long Way Homestead in Manitoba. They're fairly new, but they will process wool into roving, batts, or different yarn weights. https://www.longwayhomestead.com/

I'm glad you mentioned the date for labor day, for those of us in other countries we wouldn't know what date that is

I have only recently found your podcast since downloading Podbean. I have been listening to Louise if Caithness Craft for years and have been to a couple if her retreats. This morning yo accompanied me in my baby walk. I have my little Grandaughter and her Mummy here for the duration of Covid (it has few advantages, but that is the main one!(. Today was very wet, but I like to take her out in the pushchair every day. I loved hearing about the dog training but was glad no one was about as you mad

I have a suggestion for an "along". It might be fun to do a "dual-along" where two or more methods are used in one project. E.g.. woven jacket with knitted cuffs or needle felted design on yoke or collar. Love your podcast.

Kelly I love your podcast a d have listened to all episodes up to this one. About the Dew Drop Shawl. You are complaining about one row you hate where you are making 5 stitches into each chain of 5 chain loop of previous row. Look at a close.up of the picture of the shawl in your link. I think you need to make the 5 stitches into the 5 chain loop not into each chain of loop. This is a mistake I made when starting to crochet.

About the Dew drop Shawl row. You are talking about a row that you hate. You are making five stitches into the five chains of previous row. Look at the pattern picture and bring it into larger focus. I think you should be making these stitches into the. loop space not into each individual chain of loop. I love your podcast and have listened to all the episodes up to this one. I am frim Alberta Canada

I have spent the last few weeks listening to your podcast from oldest to newest episodes. I love the mix of humor and serious information about yarn craft and life. Great job.

Seriously laughed out loud when you spoke about the afterthought heel. I had to put my knitting down too! My first (and last) experience was traumatizing. I pulled everything out and will begin anew with my tried and true method. At miments like that I thank heaven for bourbon.
