Second episode added nothing to the subject. It was just a vehicle for commercials. This podcast was so good years ago before they went pro.
Bought the book and was not impressed. Reads like his notes typed out, it doesn’t flow very well. He added some pictures and calls it a book. No corroborating evidence there were two planes and the so called pictures of the submerged plane looks just like....coral. Another issue is the witnesses with no last names. Hard to swallow. Cmon guys you can do better.
Fascinating stuff. I don’t feel so weird about my own experience.
Not a fan of the adult vocabulary. It’s a pass for me.
Please please release a version without the background music. I couldn’t finish the first story.
always great content and stories
They started off speaking to it like a person. Would it answered different if you changed how you spoke to it?
Ruined by those sound effects. Who on earth thought they were a good idea?
Holy Moses what an exercise in time padding. Just occams razor this already, it was a con all along and everyone was in on it. Its too long ago to know 100% any of this to be true
These two are insufferable, I’d sooner listen to barn owls screech at eachother before spending 5 more minutes listening to the smug, convoluted explanation for every excruciating detail of what amounts to a mildy interesting unsolved mysteries segment. Their grandpa saw a ghost. Some of the events around what he saw turn out to be somewhat accurate. I just saved you 5 hours, you’re welcome
”That’s a f#cking monster!” Best line of the whole series.
One of my favourite episodes and interviews. I’m pretty sceptical about most things, however there are 2 events/2 people that I absolutely believe had an unexplainable experience and they are Brian (B.E.K) and Bob Gimlin (Patty). This interview is amazing.
I love the added music for effect, just like the first episodes ❤️
No one wants to say it/hear it but.... what if art bell and ”mel” just fabricatied this entire thing
Fun story. Thats all it is though. One man’s bs story that other parties added their own twists to. It worked though, here we are 20+ years later still talking about it.

So much good info and resources for genetic genealogy
I love this research. I’m currently trying to unpick a similar theme about mermaids.
When you’re looking for a response I guess you’ll hear one in any strange static. Shrug I heard nothing more than some strange static. Completely inaudible. I think you were primed to hear ”dark roast” or ”a little lighter.”
Y’all are hearing. There’s nothing there. I’ve listened to this like 12 times, with headphones, over my phone speaker, over a high end stereo system there’s no ”red light” in that audio.
love your ads guys. I’m so sick of cookie cutter BS that everyone else does. Ignore all the negative people out there. Do your thing.
Radio Rental does a much better job at this format and doesn’t use it as a thinly veiled excuse to moralize about communist gobbledygook
I don’t normally care much for ”listner stories” but this was interesting and well thought out.
Woke trash and obvious lies masquerading as ”interesting true stories”. Yuck
It‘s honestly awesome lol I know I‘m late
I love this podcast have been a long time listener, but they lose credibility talking to Corbell. He's full of complete horse, he's a total fraud.
Greensboro native here! love hearing local stories!
I have heard the actual recording of Valentich last minutes of transponding online. Forgot where I found it, but it is out there somewhere - or at least it was. Bonechilling to the core!
Amazing job on the Halloween Special once again, my absolute favorite episodes ❤
(The quotations is because I don't know if the wording is absolutely correct in English, but it is how I'd express it best in Swedish! 😊👊🇸🇪)
Funny thing is I immediately knew this film was a hoax when it came out in the mid 90's. What gave it away to me, besides the apparent "dollish" appearance of the dummy, was the "smoothness" of the actual filming, the "unclinical" small autopsy room and of course how "filmish" and unprofessional-looking the "doctor-suits" were! 🙈 (I didn't even know this was still up for debate, I thought the hoax was established long time ago!) Go Spyros - if you ever need an independent witness, call me! 😂👌
I'm talking about the "Sierra sounds". I just remembered what they were called now. Do look it up and compare the similarities! 😊👌
(- one "made" in my previous comment! 😉)
The EVPs you guys caught sound a lot like the regular audio recording made of sasquatch noises made in America in the 1970s. Anyone else who noticed the similarities? Greetings and love from Sweden! ❤️🇸🇪
That was the crepiest sound of pure evil I've ever heard! It made me cold to the core and reminded me of the sasquatch noises recorded in the 1970s...! The thing making that sound is ancient and inhuman! 😳🥶
An interesting story, but I think the kids made it up. I really dont see a 7 year old recounting all those details to her father a whole 3 weeks after the supposed event. In this case, the amount of details dont make the story more believable, but less.
Thank you this is a very wholesome idea
I love your podcast, addicted to it actually. Thank you for all of the great content.
This story always fascinates me, and thank y’all for telling it so well!
And I have to add one more comment about the "snuff" what we call "snus" it is NOT chewing tobacco, or like anything else you guys got. It is a kind of grinded black powder tobacco that you NEVER snort or swallow, you just put it under your lip. If you would eat and swallow a whole can you would most certainly die...! 😳 (Google "svenskt snus" and translate to English and you'll see what I mean.) 😊❤️🇸🇪
This sounds so typical old school northern Swedish guy! They encounter extreme wierdness but NEVER lose their calm, and they NEVER go anywhere without their "snus" (=powdered snuff that you form to ball and put under the lip) and coffe!! 😂👌 Also, they are very comfortable in vast wilderness and can walk deep into the unknown and survive in any conditions just on what nature provides. They have a tremendous respect for wildlife and fauna. They have more in common w. US natives than s.Europeans.
Such a great topic. This is an extremely overlooked subject and can’t wait for your take on it.
Thank you for keeping the new episodes coming during the Covid-19 quarantine. They have really helped fight the isolation.
EVP 11 sounds like, ”how is it you’re still here?”
