I am really noticing a difference in Rebecca's presentation on this podcast. I think this is the first time I have really heard her express feelings and opinions. She usually seems .... almost robotic when she is talking about all the facts and figures. Interesting.... I love and appreciate her work either way. ❤

Honestly... too negative and too long. Lots of blaming going on here. I think we need to focus on how we can make things more positive. I've stopped halfway through because I'm not learning anything and I don't feel you're finding a positive way to help women advocate for themselves.

I also experienced what you described postpartum euphoria with my 2nd birth and have seen other women have similar experiences. Moments after giving birth after a long and fairly difficult labor I even said something to the effect of ",when can I do that again." This was with midwifery care, a doula and was a world away from my postpartum feelings after my first birth which were more in line with ppd.
