Around 18:00 you might have conflated Julius and Augustus, because it was Pompey who Julius Caesar fought against in the civil war, and Mark Antony was one of Caesar’s men. It was Augustus who later fought against Mark Antony.

But to read Homer one can take the stance that one can read it as a riddle. Though it is not just a riddle as we commonly think of a riddle but instead a riddle of antiquity. Also, the term riddle isnt used as we would commonly use it. Instead, the use of this term, riddle, is perhaps amazingly about conveying secret information that is not initially apparent. So one has to read Homer as a riddle of the type we must solve. Amazingly its more aligned as the post post and most postmodern concepts

The 1st 5 mins sounds sophisticated but is really about nothing at all. I say this because your whole podcast and this academic study of esoterism is essentially and esoterically the study of how text is bullshiting tge reader.
