So funny that NDP veteran blames PC!! That’s the best part!

Functional Gaza vote?!? Oh, my! Sounds really pathetic!

From strong party of unions and blue collars workers, NDP merged into appendix of bourgeois Liberals. Unions now with PC, who’s taking care of all Canadians, not just wealthy few. Time of NDP is over!!

Extensive yet detailed analysis! Great job! Thanks

Dangerously one-sided reporting!

It’s seems that FT movement started in 2018, when Trudeau made drugs legal u polluted Canadian cities with drug shops.

What’s wrong with hybrids? I drove a little Toyota in Norway a lot with no problems whatsoever?!?

Sounds as the reporter is putting more gasoline into already big fire! CBC, really?

CBC, you are presenting speculations as Tim stated! Is this objective journalism?

Fair attempt to present recent situation in Ukraine. I found Tim’s statements to be politically one-sided to paint a balanced picture. But, again Ukrainian and West media are under tremendous attack of russian propaganda, so the listeners must exercise caution!

I wished you’d pushed him on the institutional racism of international student fees. Foreign students never took classroom spaces from local students. Unis never created more spaces or services with those fees. If we dropped the fees, schools would stop using international students as cash cows. Then the feds would need to pay proper operating costs for unis.

Good you’re back, Jayme. Glad you pushed JT on fed govt organizing public housing instead of blaming cities and provs for NIMBYism.

Embarrassing. Rich get richer and the poor are disenfranchised

Hard to get past the mispronunciation of epoch

It honestly seems like your experts don’t go outside. The assumptions about potential harm are based on a world that is not reactive and people are overwhelmingly reasonable. They aren’t.

”Their dying wish, many of them,” 48 minutes later ”3 out of 5200 want to do this.” Not a phenomenon.

This isn’t up to your usual standard. Biased and poorly sourced. Reread Sy’s report. Also check the history of the pipeline. Do you have CIA/US affiliations or have you failed to dig hard enough? Are you lacking sources and contacts? Reach out to some of the others covering this material. I’m an old lady and remember the events SH reported. His integrity has been repeatedly proven.

I listen to this podcast daily and normally enjoy it but this one is very poor. It lacks any real scientific and policy discussions. I’d recommend this week’s Drum beat by the Economist.

What a terribly imbalanced podcast

I’m sympathetic to the argument about EA future use but I’m not convinced yet it wasn’t appropriate given the protest tactics and stated intent in the mou. I’d be interested in a legal another opinion

Hi CBC! Thanks for another great piece seeking to confuse and disperse people’s attention. You know, you will never be able to justify why you haven’t had honest debates about these issues...why not have and honest discussion with Robert Malone or Peter McCullough and someone who has the correct science? Why not? These aren’t monsters they are very intelligent people who have very serious concerns. You will never, ever recover your integrity from your horribly biased reporting.

Thank you an interesting pod as is often the case. Looking forward is the discussion on truck automation and secure supply chains and do these circumstances enable this change

Did you say ”it was a lot of fun” at the end of the episode? Funny words to use .

I wonder why you didn’t include some of the interviews from “white hot hate”?

Great exposure of greedy corporate bottom feeder actions and behaviours. It makes my stomach turn how, nevermind the lack of COVID acknowledgment by Cargill VIPs, the conditions of the environment and employment are disgustingly rank.

2 years ago reply 0

That’s the thing- without the workers, there is no production! Corporate needs to remember that it takes ALL the employees to make revenue! It is absolutely inhumane to deny a worker a right to feel free of guilt and worry when they need time off to tend to their overworked body and mind! Absolutely unacceptable. I hope the Union gets their BASIC benefits for sick leave from this multimillion dollar giant! How pathetic..

As much as I am greatful I had job security during the pandemic, it was very hard to stay at my job that was making 200$ more than CERB, while working at 37 hours a week. Luckily CERB put wages into perspective for my employer and very recently my wage was raised by 25% - it really depends on the employer and the specifics of the field. Unfortunately, in good and industry, people are replaceable easily - maybe not anymore

This is some of the worst journalism I have heard in a long time. You are painting yourself in a corner CBC. Why not address the issue honestly and investigatively? People are having more and more concerns about some of the narratives and you are not helping us find answers. Any Joe schmoe can find out in minutes that there is much more to the ivermectin story.

2 years ago reply 2

So why not talk about actual Ivermectin trials for COVID, which ARE underway? This medication IS being tested officially. In addition, its use does not contradict or exclude the use of the vaccine ...
