Yes! The memories of shameful childhood actions! I’m glad the cow put him in his place!

Really enjoyed listening to you. Hey I am new here, hope you have time to go through my poem as well. Thanks

This is one of my favorite poems and reminds me of my hard-working father who has only a high school education and for most of his life worked two and sometimes three jobs to keep us in a safe neighborhood with good schools. I'm so ashamed of the times when I was younger and didn't respect him for all the things he sacrificed for his family, or didn't acknowledge what burdens he was carrying on his shoulders. This poem just punches me in the gut when I think of it.

Those towers in the bay are reflections in the clear water. I believe the words are pronounced “pum’ is ” and az’ yur. Thanks

David, Loved your assessment about the cadence seeming reflexive. I think his poems feel and move like a tendon- tight, taut, yet with a stretching flexibility.
