— then it is Dis-regarded along with the Female artist herself especially if she is with an anglo name and/or look! The “artists of color” wnd the “ethno/eco-artists” fem and touted as hard-core Feminists of course are the exception to the rule of today, but otherwise all other female artists seem to not stand a chance - short of being or doing something beyond extreme to get oneself on the radar of the art world or being the child or a celebrity - its become a talented sea of unknowns network

what has happened to the “Art World?!” It seems that TRUE “Artists,” the kind that are NOT about the “marketability” in their creative process & rightly so-the kind that are motivated by the opposite source and inspired by the realities and experiences of their internal processing of uncomfortable truths/realities?! It seems like especially where we Female “Artists” are concerned - if it’s Not “Pretty” pleasing to the eyes/ears/senses/mind and the look isn’t neutral enough ride above a couch
