Also, women’s lib has turned out to be a disaster for women and the family structure. The example of rent control where they were still paying less than $ 200.00 a month three plus decades later shows you how that does not work economically for the landlord. His/ her expenses are still going to go up, along with taxes and insurance. How does that pan out??
This was an interesting podcast. There are a few things that I’d like to comment on, however. First of all, the fact that there weren’t any kitchens in the rooms so that the women could be ”free” of the : drudgery ”;of cooking, which was considered to be a woman’s job. I found that to be quite curious. For some of those women, that meant that they would go hungry because they couldn’t afford to eat out every night and were forbidden to cook their own. meaand were meals , and thus were
