That was so true! As a former spiritual reader who’ve lost all religious faith in his way but one who from many years now has been a secular meditative reader from an humanistic-atheist outreach I’ve also found myself now and then on an uplifting state o’ my soul during the reading of poetry & philosophy which is very fulfiling as my approach to great books it’s driven by an existential thirst I have. So, these living words of yours resonated in me closely & it was moving to relate in that way.

love all your podcasts Ben, thanks so much for all your hard work. I don’t have iTunes so apologies, can’t leave a positive comment there

Prefer diving straight in but like listening to your voice so either is fine

Very late to the party but will work my way through them ... I read Gibran’s Children at my daughter’s wedding rather than making a poorly written speech. It seemed to say what I felt and moved many people there

My favourite podcast - in fact the sole one I can listen to. Ben has such a soothing voice and his encyclopedic knowledge of world literature, the human experience, psychology, religion and much more is hypnotizing. So glad to have found his channel :)
