I always thought the difference between animals and monstrosities was that animals were of the natural world, whereas monsters were magically created or came from some other plane of existence.

Strongly disagree with the first decision since it basically undermines the whole court. It’s like an appellate court siding with whatever the previous judge had already ruled... What’s the point of appealing at all?

I would LOVE to know what neighborhood (s) around LA where Jesse is driving. I’ve lived in the Bay Area most of my life and have dealt with plenty of aggressive driving around San Francisco. But when I got to LA I realized I had seen nothing. While I have never driven in NY, I can attest that LA drivers are incredibly aggressive, dangerous, and frankly rude. They also are terrible at making proper legal u-turns.

Holy cow this episode is great. If it weren’t for the sometimes adult content on the show, I’d say Jesse Thorn should take a hike and the young Thorn should be the new Bailiff AND Official Gavel Noise Maker. This kid’s funny, insightful, and wise.
