In my opinion, the way Lizzy explained what she means when she says the Amish aren’t Christian applies to a very large number - maybe all - religions. Even ones that literally aren’t Christian. It seems to me that religion is stuffed full of people claiming to be adherents but then doing whatever the they like. It’s just about power & status for many.
