Always be leery of people who can’t admit mistakes. A police who says eye witnesses are never wrong is not to be trusted at all. That person is not in touch with reality.

This is really simple. It doesn’t really matter if she changed her mind or not. You don’t put a man, or any person, away on the word of a 7-year-old. Or a 17-year-old or a 70-year-old. You just can’t do it. It’s not enough. Not even close. If you understand neurology and memory and trauma and stress then you understand this is just basic common sense. SHE’S 7!!!! She was doing what she thought adults in authority positions wanted her to do. The level of trauma she had endured and witnessed aren’t even necessary to render her memory, and any other humans memory, irrelevant. You simply cannot trust it.
