Hi there! We are a family of 4 in NJ selling our home and moving to 6 acres in NC to start a homestead. This podcast sounds JUST like us. Thank you. It's nice to know you are not alone. Are you on social media? I would love to connect more! We just made a youtube channel.. the reilly ranch. We just went to the homesteaders conference of america in VA. We can't wait to go on this adventure but it's definitely a walk of faith. We are going to be debt free but have no jobs planned, and will be living in a camper fixing our home. Glad I found this. Always dreaming of my own private plot of land to sequester myself in (not to earn money homesteading) but doubt I’ll ever have the $ so I’m traveling and actually joined helpx.com to find homesteads I can volunteer on/with as well I think it will be a good learning experience.... so my Q is about that. Have you, your listeners done this?

AMAZING! I am a mother of two, working the hour commute, 9-5 corporate job. My husband & I are homesteaders in the making from Southern New Jersey.
