I love the child trust fund so much. We need to bring it back.

Perhaps if the Labour Party, made the case to be the party of working people. ALL who work regardless of income. Business owners and employees. As well as trying to help those who want to work to work.

One of things which I feel leave got right about the Brexit referendum was they referred to a thriving Britain. Taking Alison's point about stories, Labour needs to be present a vision for a prosperous Britain. With 'something for everyone'. Not just the vulnerable.

In the hard times when everyone feels vulnerable, most will plump for the individualist party.

I think what attracts many people to the conservatives is the idea that they are the party of the individual and success. Labour is the party of justice and protection of the vulnerable.

I think progressive values are seen as 'nice to have' rather than a must have in hard times.

I think economic competence is incredibly important.

Love this podcast though.

Tories always pride themselves on being realists. But the levels of delusion on display are astounding.
