Hi Oliver, I’ve just enjoyed listening to your Father’s reminiscing of his time aboard La Salamander in ’76. It was a red hot summer and La Salamander was the home or Mlle Ronnie Townsend, who held a senior post in the OECD - the dog was a Terrier named Hero - and the cat was named Marie Antoinette. Was Peter around when the tramp ( cloche??) who lived underneath the Passerelle Debilly sadly hanged himself on our telephone wire???? A great moment in time

Sorry you had to involve your podcast in a political issue. No need to do this on your site and disappointed you got derailed from a pleasant podcast free of political content.

One of my favorite museums in Paris is MusΓ©e de la Chasse et de la Nature in the Marais. It's not for everyone, but I love it's quirkiness and the house itself is interesting. It's also one of those museums that are often quiet.
