My new life as a widow has given me opportunities to develop intentional hospitality to widen my circle of friends. God is blessing me so much by reaching out to folks from my community chorus, and neighborhood. I believe that a warm bowl of soup served with love can be such a wonderful tool of living out the Gospel! Thanks for your honesty and humor sharing your stories, Lauren. Keep these stories coming!!!

Lauren I really resonate with this topic ! Thank you for speaking v such wise words to my soul. I have the joy of mentoring young moms at my church and yet if I’m honest, I too struggle with control. God is bringing freedom to trust Him more because my sweet husband relocated to heaven in August 2020. I’m learning new lessons in relying totally on God now that I am a widow. Praise God that his Word is sustaining me in all things!
