This anonymous teacher strikes me as one of those ”human lie detectors” that’s why she felt so uncomfortable around Scamanda and her hubs.

Covertly aggressive people are the most manipulative personalities. They use certain tactics to: 1) conceal their aggressive intentions, and 2) invite you to fear, be doubtful, or optimally, to concede or give in.

The person on the receiving end of this emotional barrage forgets to trust their gut that they are being manipulated. They go on the defensive but still don’t view the tactics as offensive moves.

At the very moment the manipulator is excuse-making, blaming, denying, minimizing, feigning innocence, or quilting the other party, they are fundamentally FIGHTING (not ”defending”) - fighting not only to get the other person to cave-in to their demands but also fighting against the rules of health social behavior-- all the while looking good with a benign social image.

They are a group of undisciplined fighters, labeled ”aggressive personalities” who cloak their aggression in behaviors thought of as ”defense mechanisms” but are really offensive power tactics. At the very moment the manip

Covert-aggressors are relatively non -neurotic, charater-deficient persons who fail to ”own” or excise responsible clontrol over their aggressive instincts and who exploit the excessive conscientiousness of neurotic persons to get the better of them.

Rather than openly assert power over you, covert-aggressors use subtle tactics that not only blind you to their real nature and self-serving agendas but also have the power to bring you to submission and control you. You only fully realize what’s happened to you after most of the damage has been done. Some suggest that this disorder is significant enough to make them ”almost a psychopath.” Most people are completely taken in by them, but others see problems but cannot put their finger why.

ScAmanda has a classic Covert-Aggressive Personality Disorder. A clinical psychologist has a blog and several books about CAPD. Just Google Covert Aggressive Personality Disorder to find the blog, etc. My ex-wife had a mild case, but the symptoms are the same. We normal people keep comparing her with normal people. SHE IS NOT NORMAL. This personality disorder can be dangerous.

Fabulous research. Could have been faster moving in pace. The one thing missing is an insight into fraudsters mindset from a forensic psychologist. It was only lightly touched on that it could be ”attention seeking”. People like Amanda have deeper motivations.

I’m so happy this guest now feels validated. To be played with by a narcissistic psychopath like Amanda is utterly horrific and I hope she can start to heal by remembering who she is and go back to being a wonderful teacher. Much love ❤

When will Amanda be charged with perjury?

These real life stories, unfortunately, are all too real. They happen every day, to every day people that we all know. The real horror of these tales is that they REALLY do happen, every day, to someone we all know. And we as neighbors or friends don’t find out till it’s too late

When I first found and listened to the entire episode content I felt a sense of relief being a victim of a scam acting as friend. It has grossly impacted my career and home life. Listening to the series finally set me free of self doubt and criticism that I was the wrong person or party as accused almost gaslighted. It empowered me to move on forgiving not forgetting but growing. Listening teacher bonus I cried knowing her challenges and hurt. I believe you and I hear/see you. Hugs ❤️

This podcast has been such an eye-opener. I’m usually skeptical about people who request help for medical purposes and this has just made it easier for me to do more research on these requests in the future. Thank you Nancy and Charlie. Continue to do what you do best and show the world who the scammers are.

My God, this could have been one or two episodes at best. A chancer duped a load of people. Happens all the time and this really was either a dull story or delivered in such a repetitive format, I lost interest. I picked up a few weeks later but never really surprised, shocked or even interested me. All very much run of the mill.
