I recently found your podcast and I can’t thank you enough. All my life mom and oma would randomly bring up a german figure from history and then never be able to tell me more than like common civilian knowledge, and it’s hard to find coherent german histories in English sometimes. For example, thanks to you I know exactly what my mother had been saying all my life whenever I would lose my temper or focus and then randomly do something stupid: Okay Otto, feel better?

I am just a few episodes in, but I am really enjoying this. The narrator has a pleasingly dry humour about the whole thing.

German history in depth and at length, but vividly narrated.
