My 1yr old Dad and his parents were poor legal emmigints from Basque Spain in 1929. They worked hard and my dad volunteered for the US Army in Dec 1944 at 17yrs old. They loved this country. Immigrants are not all the same. If they are devout Christians fleeing persecution, i say welcome. Others, not so much especially devout muslims. This is not their place. Neither are Atheists welcome. We already have to many of them.

I get you are saying your explanation on the origin of life is better. I even agree that it is the accurate explanation of how it happened. But there isn’t a line in the creation narrative that says ”God created the fish in the sea and the birds of the air, *and He did that nowhere else*.” Just because their argument that life will just happen given enough time and randomness is silly, it doesn’t follow from that that there is definitely no life anywhere but here. You aren’t making an argument.

Perfectly fine to regularly promote Catholic theology, even in a political podcast, but it seems indelicate to critique *any* other faith directly (even in response to mailbag questions). I’m disappointed.
