Trigger warnings should not be about not offending people, but advising them of material that may trigger PTSD responses. Eg if a podcast is going to be about child $exual abuse, it’s good to let people know up front instead of having them surprised. It’s like ratings for tv shows and movies.
Yes a crisis will make you rethink your life and priorities. I had stage 3 cancer and needed to minimise my stress. I realised that too much stuff and addiction to buying things for momentary happiness were causing me more anxiety. These guys have really helped me.
My two rescue cats definitely add value to my life. Plus cats are so elegant in their design.
I really appreciate that this podcast and the YouTube channel are both advertising free. Now whenever I try to listen to podcasts that have ads, I turn off straight away. So annoying.
