Great story. I can relate. I wanted to be a mom but didn’t think I had enough compassion to be a good one. That was almost 40 years ago. I love my kids and grandkids. I probably could be more compassionate, but everything seems to have worked out ok. ❤️

I wonder if Joey has ever seen a counselor. I remember having a ’friend’ who was a mannequin but I was a little girl. I don’t see how it’s possible to have a relationship with an object that obviously cannot speak or react. It seems like Joey is projecting his wants and needs onto this object. Also, how is this a secret if he/she posted it on social media and clearly doesn’t care who knows? Disappointed in this episode.
What happened to her parents? Did she ever see or talk to them again?
