Ms. Hunter! I love each broadcast that I have listened to between you & Dr. Greg Carr!! Each conversation is informative, enlightening, & progressive. Each conversation makes me feel like I'm sitting in an African-American studies class. So, phenomenal, Thank you so much! Thank you for speaking truth, strength, & empowerment through present day & past history!!

Hi Karen..thank you and Dr. Carr for this episode on Ida B. Wells. I am a huge fan of Ms. Wells. Some things you both talked about I knew and some i did not. I love my Black history. The books mentioned I will now go searching for. Thanks for sending me down that rabbit hole!

You have defined the problem of the American Psyche. I thank you for starting the solution process that we need to address.

I am grateful for the Gayle King Snoop Dog brouhaha because in trying to figure out what it was about (cause I don't watch the news) I found your YouTube and searched for your podcast. Love you!

Great job, Karen. So not buying his book. Self-hating. He voted for that devil without any knowledge about what he would "achieve."

My comment for this one ended up in the miseducation of the negro ... ?

Why did he hv to miss 5 days of education? For hair? Most schools today hv to teach to SOL tests which may or may not focus on critical thinking. The teachers are so busy trying to meet the SOL criteria that they cannot address those type of deficits which I am sure that they recognize. Teachers need to work in an environment where creative skills are allowed; children need to be in an environment where the leadership is allowed to care about their futures. Schools today are somewhere between zoo's and factories, ... horrible reference but if this was NOT true there would be a higher rate of student success for children of the global majority, .. not just while in school but also in life. The current division among the populus does not help, and teacher's pay is abysmal. Just a couple of thoughts...

Loving you podcast will catch you on YouTube. Looking forward to the book club. Did you visit PramPram and New Ningo? Repatriates are on purpose there! Ancestral wall.

4 years ago reply 0

I appreciate your starting this book club, ... it will help me to read more. Again, thank you. And by the way, I was told one truth that Egypt was in Africa but over time they have tried to report on it as if it was not a part of Africa.

No, thank YOU, ... you are the big Sister that I never had ... even though I'm a hundred years older ..lol... peace.

4 years ago reply 0

Nice, ... thanks for sharing your experience with us. I saw vids of Steve Harvey and others on YT and it appeared to be an emotional experience for all. Sad story for our people.

Agree with your work ethics and planning for the future, etc., but going back to the call, I could hear the anxiety in her voice and maybe she needed someone who could help her to come up with a plan. She almost sounded to me like she was pleading in a sense, ... I wish that she could have stayed on another minute but that would hv bn too long. Great shows, and thanks for all that you do.

4 years ago reply 0

So much of this needed to be said to the adult children who toy with social media. Clearly, the work that you are doing on all social media is for grown folks.

4 years ago reply 0

thank you for sharing youri experience. I really enjoyed listening.

I think a lot of the African countries are influence by African Americans

Thank you Karen. We must educate our own. Black Wallstreet requires the financial pieces for sure but the educational piece is crucial too. It is necessary to combat the racism built into the system that is America.

Every time you all discuss Watchmen it makes me want a television. It sounds like a show that the world needs at this time and I would give Drew's word "discernment ", or lack thereof, as the reason why. The way you unpack certain scenes reveals a depth that the youth will never find on social media. Enjoyed this. Peace and God bless.

This is probably my favorite interview... love him. I have not seen the movie, but the way, but after listening to this outstanding interview I would now like to see it for the cinematography----I am not too sure that I will like the ending. Love your work and thanks for the podcast reminders. Peace and God bless.

I learn so much from your shows,...I too thought that each book i.e. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were written by those individuals. I also forget that so much of life originated in Africa,...thank you for always educating us.

Thank you Karen to remind me to stay on track regarding goal setting and managing health.

4 years ago reply 0

When I feel overwhelmed I find it difficult to focus on my goals. Obviously I need to set goals that can prevent overwhelm. This is a good one but my consistency when it comes to goal setting leaves alot to be desired. It's one more thing that needs work in my life even at my age. Thank you.

Needed this one, and yes, I am not always mindful. I appreciate your openness about how we are as a people and how we can be towards each other. More so, I appreciate the way you challenge who you are which I find completely inspiring. Thank you.

Powerful. If only I could have learned more alot sooner in my life. If only I could have learned more of the truth. Thank you.

Love this! Please continue to talk about slavery. I have learned more details about what my ancestors were subjected to; I understand why my parents never discussed their hardships with me and the pain and scars of Jim Crow that they HAD to carry on silence while trying to put food on the table; I have also learned why I, as a black woman must know who I am. I must be aware of the DNA that runs through my blood and I MUST keep going....I simply must. So thank you for always talking about slavery, it is necessary for the growth and enlightenment of our community.

Appreciate your openness as well as your efforts. While I am not one to make fun of people I can go to what is wrong,...first. it's a habit but a skill in some cases. In my quest to be a people builder, one to help others rebuild I have to find balance and delicacy in my delivery. I want them to know that negative or positive it's all out of love. Peace ...nice work.

This is my first time listening to your podcast karen. It was very enlightening. This will be a learning tool for me. I’m a person of a certain age. I should know more about my black history but I don’t. Its never to late to learn. I will be tuning in. I also plan to educate myself by doing more research. Thank you for waking me up on what’s going on in the world.

Wow! Perfect for where I am at this time in my life,...I hv lost my identity and my life has been under demonic attack for a long time. That foot is on my neck and some days the walls are closing in. But, and there will always be a but,..not gvg up not gvg in come what may. With every inner break down comes a break through ,...I hv what it takes but must find that identity,...she's there and she is bad A. Love this and so are you.

Stocks will definitely be my next move due to listening to your radio shows. I truly appreciate all the information that you take the time to put out.
