I don't believe Bundy was ever normal. He was a deviant from a very, very young age. I believe he did kill Ann - he even confessed to it in a very, roundabout way. He never wanted to be known as a killer of children. He refused to confess to Kim Leach and insisted that Lynette Culver looked much older than 12. I also think he liked to keep some control and was toying with Beverly Burr. After all, she and his mother were very much alike.
