What AOC is describing is straight up prison but filled beyond the point you'd ever fill a prison. They're being stuffed in prison facilities like cattle. They don't even get the food prison inmates get. Prisons have 2000 calorie diets that are strictly controled with alternative diets for religious and allergy exceptions. Being woken up pre-daylight for no reason is also standard practice in jails and prisons nationwide. It's "supposed" to get inmates into a working person's schedule for eventual release into the general public. There's no excuse whatsoever for doing that with asylum seekers and economic immigrants. They have commited no crimes and deserve the best from all of us, not our absolute worst. It's obscene and disgusting.
