He couldn’t have used a marker pen on his gas mask carrier because markers dint exist back then. See: ”(a) As prescribed in (2) and (3) below, by 1/2-inch stencil for textile equipment, and by marking outfit, metal, and marking outfit, leather, respectively, for metal and leather equipment.”
This is one of those episodes where a script would have been beneficial. The lack of one, resulted in an incredible amount of rambling. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get through the full episode. Which was sad because the subject was incredibly important to discuss.
Sound quality very up and down.
Wow! Lots of memories listening to this episode as I lived at 47 Queensborough Terrace from 1966 to 1973. I remember the Central Park Hotel being built
Oh bless you, can’t believe you got chocked up on air but was still man enough to leave it in
I’ve turned into a true crime junkie and after binging on the usual suspects have been on the look out for another binge . SO PLEASED to have discovered this one as I have followed/unfollowed about 5 in the last week . I’m loving the quiz in part 2 and the coffee chat. Well done Michael on a slick, informative and unique podcast with unique reports and subject matter . Ps do you live on a house boat ?
