This is a great episode! One nit to pick...pls consistently choose song samples that demonstrate the music you’re highlighting. Example: I found that Poison Ivy’s guitar was overshadowed by Lux’s vocals and the novelty of the cover version of ”Fever” was distracting.

What about Paula Cole’s I Don’t Want to Wait (Dawson’s Creek)? I remember that blowing up after appearing as the show theme.

Sunrise records does not qualify as a record store. I walked into their West Edmonton mall store and it is so stark it's disgusting. There's no resemblance to what a record store used to be anymore. They are dead.

Oh man! I spent more than thousands of hours in record stores. I shopped in record stores, I worked full-time in record stores, I sold music for record companies to record stores, I bought music for distribution,.... Sadly they really are dead.

Alan Cross is a national treasure... No one knows more about music than this guy. It's downright mind blowing.
