I feel like the answer for where to take the Metroid series has been staring Nintendo in the face for years: make Samus an actual bounty hunter! I'd love to see Samus let loose in a city out on the edge of settled space, where the Space pirates, the Federation, and local organizations vie for control (Big Prey 2/Outer Rim Star Wars energy). The varia suit would make environment traversal a blast.

I'd love to see you folks do a Beanscast on House in Fata Morgana. Like Jason, I was absolutely blown away when I played it several years ago.
