Not racist at all. Son-in-law is Jewish, dated a black woman for 2years prior to current wife (see her interview with NYTIMES) Build his own conference center/resort/clubs b/c other would not allow blacks or Jews to join.
My first time I listen to you, you have a new listener! Love to discover all those great grassroots movements that started following 2016. Guys from Pod save America, Axelrod, former politicians of both sides (Joe Scarborough rant on Moscow Mitch...), guys from the Lincoln project, name them!
One more thing, such a lengthy bit on Tulsa from ALL of you, with no mention of the Tulsa riot 99 years ago. I would have liked to have heard Lankford's take on that and what, if anything, he would like to see done to commemorate it. He sure had plenty to say about Tulsa's beautiful park.
I want to preface this by saying I really enjoy your podcast...usually. However, your conversation with Senator Lankford was a waste of time. You did not challenge him on Trump's very real racism, mocking individuals with disabilities, adding over a trillion dollars to the deficit BEFORE Covid, and on and on and on. Not the finest hour for this podcast.
