Just a side based on the cop drama, if you have not read it, there may be some interesting similar concepts that then add psychological impact. Look at Hamlet’s Hitpoints. Goes into electronic game design concepts.

Fantastic episode! I have been running games for My kids for about three years now. My kids are currently 13, 11, and 8. My oldest is losing interest, so I never force her to play. My 11 year just started DMing. I bought her the starter set for exactly the same reason your panel said to shrink down the rules. The 5e PHB was just to intimidating for her. Thanks again for a great informative episode

I love listening to the Tome Show and every program they have, whether it's the Round Table, Monster ecology, or my new personal favorite Edition Wars. The Tome Show has been doing D&D podcasts before D&D podcasts were a thing. Keep up the good work.

I find all the wild magic stuff distracting, and it got kind of ridiculous this episode.

Terrific episode! Hope there will be more on related themes—racial & ethnic justice at the gaming table, gender & sexuality diversity at the gaming table, feminism at the gaming table, etc.

Painful podcast to listen to. The first panel was terrible, one of the guests was extremely difficult to understand and another guest seemed more interested in calling Wizards novelists terrible. Rest of the show was good though
