You mention the sits in the morning but without going into details about what happens there. I assume it's centering prayer or a variation thereof? Is there a reason why you don't talk about it?

My wife and I raised four children - two girls and two boys - and we discover that you cannot force anything on them in the way they think because they are their own person growing up working out their own autonomy and reality. However, even though they seem to be ignoring your advice they cannot stop observing how us - their parents - go about whatever we do or think. Our behaviour - more then our words - seem to have an impact on them. They cling to you well into their adulthood and unwittingly parents are an ongoing model - or a model of, or, a yardstick for their own lives. So for good or bad parents lead by example more than words or advice. Therefore, the best lesson that parents can give to their children is loving each other through thick and thin and the values they hold. Also from a very early stage our children are influenced for good or ill by their peers and what’s going on in the world around them - they are absorbing that too and no doubt comparing it with what happens at home. Conversely the “Jesus” factor for my wife and I has been dominant and at least our lives witness to it for our children’s observation too - whatever they make of it themselves.

I appreciated Richard's transparency and honesty about his feelings. It made me feel more normal when it comes to how often I wrestle with myself day to day in similar ways. 😊🙏

I can identify with Fr Richard that in the face of human obstinacy and invincible hardness of heart - and my inability to do anything to bring about immediate change, I can only return my frustration to God and hope for a miracle!!.

My dearest friends I. CH My dearest friends in the Universal Christ, could you comment the ministry of healing that seems amazing at times and beyond belief and then those who don't get healing on a physical level. I am one who has received soo much emotional, spiritual and relief of symptoms that aren't a cure. Like your previous respondent I can see how these things have allowed me to grow and learn but still get frustrated because it seems the gifts I have been given can only be used in a limited way. I don't see mirrored what I imagine is the kind of healing Christ did in the what seem extremes of experiences that I see in the mega, Pentecostal type services. My healing has often come from a medium that isn't *Christain* in its practice. I have recieved both in and out of Christianity. Is this another book Richard? Many blessings to you all Thank you for all of your work which has also brought me much spiritual healing. Janis from UK
