Completely Agree, I saw a guy years ago, downtown Indianapolis, he duct taped 8 different pedals to his telecaster and guitar strap. It must have weighed a ton, it was crazy what he was doing, totally busy with his playing all night, actually sounded great and brought the set to life. Lost track of him over the years. Loved that night.

I feel like pedals are musical instruments. Equally as important as different types of pickups. Anything a person can use to alter their sound to something pleasing to them and what they are trying to achieve is a win in my book. I used to jam with a guy who would place foil over his pickups to get an altered tone he wanted. So if it works for you, run with it.
