Because if he is not a covenant Theologian he would have a different hermeneutic other than bringing old things into the new as CT does. (Tripartite division) (sabbath) Certain other understanding such as NCT have christocentric historical Redemptive hermeneutic... not as in throw Moses away but understands Moses in light of the cross and new covenant. 1 corth 10 , rom 14

I'm not that studied but Wouldn't The concept of middle knowledge hold God to a thought process that is of anthropomorphic thinking. The very fact that God stoops down and communicates with man In such a way that we can understand it is amazing... I often thought of calling God's communication towards man "man speak". What a condescension on His part. It seems to me that the concept of middle knowledge elevates man stylistic type thought processes into God's mind.
