A couple notes. Back in the 80s the functional limit of time on a CD was 74min. You could do longer but that required special manufacturing processes.

Hi guys! Enjoyed the underrated discussion and I agree with your shared admiration for “Distractions” - a light and jazzy number that could have been a 1950s standard. But as much as I’ve always liked it there is a “burp” in the lyrical content that my ear catches on every time: butterflies don’t buzz! I know... a trifle of a whiffle of a peccadillo but there you go. Anyway, best to the both of you and keep up the good work.

I had always wished they went with something like Billy Joel GH and did a 2CD set. They could have included all the key non album b sides (Oh Woman Oh Why, Country Dreamer, Sally G, Girls School, Daytime Nighttime along with Take It Away etc.
