Mary Margaret O’Hara would be a great guest on your podcast David.

A truly tender soul still standing alone, making a stand, fighting the fight against the soulless superficial. A beautiful sensitive man in a desensitised world.

”Just watch it sonny or I’ll punch you” 😂

Very poetic final summation by David talking about how music can ’save’ you and help you find yourself, and make you feel like you belong.

This interview is a real expose of the machinations of the music industry. I know Tom was only joking about having enough material for a stand up routine, but I for one could listen to more anecdotes. All your podcasts are great David, but I particularly enjoyed this one. Thank you.

To compare ”I never know where you are” to Cutting Crew is sacrilege David!

Thank you for this podcast with Dale Farrington - it took me back to some really special times at Enots Social Club in Lichfield - I went to every single gig that Dale put on there - I can honestly say they have not been bettered in the last 36 years! Thank you Dale for making it all happen - Iain (from Barton)

First time I’ve listened to C86. Really enjoyed the interview with James. Great knowledge from both interviewer and guest. Will definitely listen to a lot more from C86 in the future. looking forward to seeing the Nightingales on the 13th. keep up the great work.

Dave Conway comes of as a very good guy, and he made a very rational decision to leave the band when he did that he explained with a great deal of insight. It certainly tracks with every article I’ve read. Interesting to hear the stuff he was told in Dublin based on class was the same my wife was told as a child when in school because she was hispanic; ”oh you can’t consider that profession. That’s for the others”. Only forgot to ask what what he thought of MBV after he left. Missed opportunity.

Great interview ! You and Andy Denton played a great gig at the weekend. Nice to hear him mentioned as he’s been playing and writing in Venus Fly Trap for years.

Really interesting to hear Alex filling in the gaps I didn’t know from our conversations on his musical pedigree. His work ethic and dedication to music has made him an institution in Northampton. Long may he continue!

Paul is very modest, he is a fantastic guitarist and a fabulous singer/poet and an even finer gentleman xxx
