I love temple of doom for its visual look, a lot more effort went into the scenery. The lava, the mine shaft roller coaster, the puzzle rooms. Amazing fun.

Ships having supplies doesn’t guarantee they’ll win in an engagement. This isn’t really something for newer players. It’s okay if they think it’s unfair, we play a game were four people can attack one person. That’s not fair, yet it’s intended gameplay. The design is to speed up game play sessions and give session based gold dumps.
I don't think buying resource crates (Cannonballs, Fruit and/or Wood) would be a good idea. Got to think of the Nublets that can't afford stuff, they will complain about being at a disadvantage and that it's a form of pay-to-win.

Maybe drag boom barrels in a rowboat behind the boat with the harpoon. Yes destroy Crooked Mast, nothing but snakes and explosive barrels.
