You just gotta love a dollop of truth... Yes the church is an old tart and yes no progress is ever made unless we admit our innermost secrets and expose our hidden lives. I am a 28year AA veteran and a 7 year old Christian and I stopped drinking in AA and got sober with Jesus- two very different things! Let's all keep up this good and difficult work and remember; spiritual progress, not spiritual perfection, and, if a lot of us do a little then an awful lot gets done- no need to be addictive about our volunteerism either- my latest vice- so I am talking to myself here.
