Dani Urcuyo, MD is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has completed his training with the Institute for Functional Medicine. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Microbiology before completing medical school and his residency at the Cleveland Clinic. As a long-time recreational CrossFit athlete and coach his interests include using the principles of functional medicine to optimize sports performance, health, and longevity. He currently serves as a medical director and staff physician at SteadyMD, a fully virtual direct primary care practice. He and his wife Julie Foucher-Urcuyo co-host the Pursuing Health podcast which shares the power of exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress management, and meaningful relationships to create health and reverse disease.
