@zaemai : Thank you so,much for making these so we dont forget history and what happened. Anyone who reads this should do more research about Carlos Hathcock. There are a fee biographies about him and they are amazing. It'll give you a much better appreciation for him. Also Chesty Puller. He is not mentioned but he was abother amazing military individual and you should check the biographies on him as well.

@Shlomo Shekelstein : enough one can see that he is moralizing the cold war too much. It should have been covered in an objective manner. I enjoyed the episode on spying I found it very interesting. It started of well, had bill covered the final twenty years of the cold war in the same detail as the first twenty years and did it in an unbiased way the podcast would've been much better.

years of the cold war. Bill left out the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and didn't talk about why the Soviet Union collapsed. He skips over the Nixon years and doesn't cover the cold war in the mid 70s during the Ford and Carter years. Bill completely skips over this era to the election of Reagan and doesn't cover the cold war in the 1980s in great detail either. One can tell that the podcast is politically biased and is not fair and balanced. Perhaps that was the goal but if one listens closely

Overall it's a good podcast in terms of detail and storytelling. Bill Whittle does a great job. The podcast started off well in terms of detail and depth of it's coverage of cold war events. However that changed with Bill not covering the Vietnam war enough he spent to much of it talking about the air war without covering the bombing campaigns against the North. He also glossed over the remaining twenty years of the cold war. They years 1971-91 deserved just as much coverage of the first twenty

I learned a bunch of stuff listening to this podcast - I think it's an invaluable source of information for later generations like me who weren't around to experience any of this.
